About Marty McElroy

I have more than 30+ years of experience serving many of Deloitte’s largest and most complex audit clients. In these audit roles I have lead the global audits of various financial services companies with a specialization in the asset management industry. I also have served as an advisory partner for various other financial services and commercial clients. I have also served in various firm leadership roles that include but are not limited to; Audit Talent Partner for the East region audit practice, and the leader of our greater tri-state financial services audit practice. Through my experience serving large global clients, I have built strong relationships with Deloitte’s national and regional leaders globally, which facilitates the smooth and efficient delivery of our services.I have also, served as a technical partner for various companies prior to their initial public offerings, and have extensive experience in SEC reporting and serving public companies with significant global operations. I also serve as an engagement quality control review partner for several prominent clients. In this role, I evaluate the significant judgments made by the engagement team and the conclusions reached in preparing our audit reports to determine whether to approve issuance.
