ABOUT MARTY KIRSHNER

As head of the Energy Business Practice Group and an audit Partner for Gray, Gray & Gray, I provide exceptional business advisory, audit, and accounting services for clients in a variety of industries, including energy, retail distribution, manufacturing and private closely-held companies, to name a few. My depth of experience allows me to serve as a strategic advisor and consultant on all aspects of financial and business operations for our clients, particularly those in the fuel oil and propane industry. This includes transactional consulting, benchmarking, cost allocations, strengthening internal controls, and identifying opportunities for increased profitability, and attaining long-term goals. I am also a member of the firm’s Employee Benefit Plan Audits Practice Group, possessing specialized knowledge of the requirements related to 401(k) plans and other defined contribution plans. I use this knowledge to oversee and support our team of audit professionals, motivating and developing them in their professional growth. My involvement in the energy industry extends to a multitude of professional associations, participating as a guest speaker and seminar leader at various conferences throughout the year. I am also a regular contributor to prominent energy industry publications, including Oil & Energy and LP Gas magazines. I currently serve as Treasurer of the National Fuel and Energy Institute.
