Assists with personnel actions for AESAP(SNAP), such as selecting and interviewing potential employees, approving and denying leave requests, reviewing timesheets, completing new hire documents, appraisals, and other personnel duties assigned by the assistant director-Responsible for the supervision of supervisors and 40 or more staff-Provides supervisory oversight of AESAP(SNAP) policy training duties as assigned so that policy is accurately interpreted and timely implemented-Communicates/exchanges information orally and in writing with the assistant director, supervisors, staff, the public, agency personnel and others effectively so that information is given and received within the guidelines of the agency-Monitors the program so that identified possible claims are registered within the guidelines of the Food Assistance Division-Monitors the program so that payment accuracy is within established rates and clients receive correct benefits in accordance with agency policies and procedures-Reviews and completes assigned logs and reports to ensure that they are completed timely and accurately-Performs Emergency Welfare Response statewide as assigned by the assistant director so that arrival at the site is timely; decisions and actions are in accordance with policy and local protocol.
