About Karla Martinez

As a Deputy District Attorney at Contra Costa County, I prosecute criminal cases and serve the public interest. I have two years of experience as a prosecutor, during which time I have tried over 15 jury trials. I also worked as a summer law clerk at the same office, where I drafted motions, memos, and briefs, and conducted motion hearings. Additionally, I have prior legal experience in real estate, probate proceedings, living trusts, and Spanish Interpretation. I am passionate about justice, education, human rights, and inspiring future generations. I am eager to continue learning and growing as a professional and look forward to giving back to my community.
