As a Senior Public Health Manager at the CITY KANSAS CITY HEALTH DEPARTMENT, I lead and oversee the division of communicable disease and prevention, ensuring the delivery of high-quality public health services and programs to the community. I have over 20 years of experience in the military and health care sectors, with a strong background in emergency management and homeland security.In my previous roles, I was a Regional Manager of Emergency Preparedness at St. Joseph\'s Medical Center/ St. Mary\'s Medical Center, where I coordinated and implemented emergency preparedness plans and policies, and a Senior Enlisted Advisor to the Deputy Commander for Administration at US Army, where I provided strategic guidance and support to the senior leadership and staff. I have a Master\'s degree in Emergency Management and Homeland Security from National University, I hold a Bachelor\'s of Science degree in Health Care Administration from Trident University International, and multiple certifications in emergency and disaster relief management, emergency medical technician, and CPR/AED/First Aid. I am passionate about improving public health outcomes, enhancing emergency preparedness and response capabilities, and serving the community with integrity and professionalism.
