About Trey Martinez

I am currently an alumni at the University of Kansas with a degree in finance and marketing however I have a passion for going overseas. With companies going more global I wanted to expose myself to different cultures and environment in hopes of acquiring global skills that I can use for my future employer. To help make myself more diverse I studied abroad in Germany at WHU - Otto Beisheim School of Management and South Korea at Korea University to get a better sense of each country. I am currently working in the Global Business Studies and my role is to create a mentorship program for the incoming exchange students where I can help them connect with other exchange students. During these events exchange students talk about their daily lives at Kansas and if they have any difficulties I help fix the issue. I am also in a bunch of activities such as Alpha Kappa Psi Business Fraternity, KU Global Business Studies, KU Supply Chain Club, and KU Finance Club as when I studied abroad I missed the opportunity to connect with my peers, so I found this was the best way to meet people and learn new skills.
