ABOUT MARTINE CHAUSSARD
I am a trilingual audio producer, editor and public health communication specialist (yes, you can be all these things at once!) I enjoy working on stories where compelling facts meet emotional truth. Throughout the first half of my public health career translating research to policy and communication programs, I came across extraordinary but complicated narratives I longed to bring to the public. Curious about the potential of audio to meet this need, I attended the Transom Story Workshop, an audio storytelling residency in Woods Hole, MA. At Adonde Media, I became a start-to-finish producer working on public affairs, education, culture, and entertainment podcasts in English, French, Spanish, and Portuguese. I have been the lead producer and sound designer on shows for clients such as Netflix and Sony Pictures Animation, and on high-profile, sound-rich, award-winning originals such as Canción Exploder. I am also the co-creator and producer of Small Power, a limited podcast series about local politics and the 2020 elections in the state of Georgia. My work has also aired on WHYY’s The Pulse, WCAI, and WAMC.(Headshot credits - Photographer: Keshia Eugene (@chocolatekesh)/ Art:Tricky Walsh, The Arpanet, 2023, acrylic on paper)
