ABOUT MARTIN CHOO
From managing factories to managing people, I’m an independent leader with strong organization and project management skills. I worked in heavy industry for several years as a Manufacturing Engineer EIT for General Electric and gained a strong foundation in how to build processes. I later transitioned into a Leadership role as a shop supervisor running a non-metallics shop for GE in its second oldest factory in the world. This would be a basis for my management skills later when I joined Amazon in 2014 in a growing retail and technology sector. For the last 10 years I\'ve progressed through Amazon running warehouse departments. Eventually I would be promoted to managing warehouse quality and then the responsibility of learning and training new associates during the height of pandemic. Those challenging times allowed me to grow into a Regional Learning role with scale and scope that spans both Canada and the United States.
