ABOUT MARTIN BRACKLEY

For 25 years I\'ve helped some of the world\'s largest banks, captive finance arms, auto and equipment finance businesses transform how they run - implementing and operating the software at the core of their asset finance operations.I\'m Client Delivery Director at Alfa Financial Software (FTSE 250), accountable for major engagements across the UK, Europe, and the US. I\'ve led or been involved in delivery for 17+ substantial client engagements spanning the USA, Europe, Africa, and Asia. Our teams deliver the programmes that make those transformations real - on time, commercially, and with the benefits our clients signed up for.A few things I\'ve learned along the way:• Delivery at scale is a coaching problem as much as a planning problem. The best outcomes come from teams that can make good judgement calls in the middle of complexity - and that takes deliberate effort to help them grow. I\'ve been lucky to work with some of the best, and we learn and grow together.• Commercial and delivery discipline aren\'t in tension. The best-delivered projects tend to be the most commercially successful ones, because both depend on the same things: partnership, clarity, honest conversations, and the discipline to follow through when things are hard.• Transformation isn\'t really about the software. The hard parts are the people running it and the processes around them. Clients aren\'t just buying a system - they\'re buying into a better version of their business.Alongside client delivery, a current focus is AI enablement across our delivery organisation - embedding AI capability into how we work with our clients. I\'m fascinated by the technological leaps, and especially interested in what AI transformation means for large, complicated businesses.I joined Alfa as a junior consultant in 2001 and have been fortunate to grow with the company through most of how it became the business it is today.Outside work, I\'m a wildlife and nature photographer - you can see my work at brackleyimages.com.
