ABOUT MARTINA-N. MUNTEAN

With over two decades in clinical research, I’ve learned that success in drug development is as much about relationships and creativity as it is about strategy and execution. My journey has taken me from leading global clinical trials to shaping strategic partnerships that help biotech companies bring their therapies to life.At Fortrea, I work with biotech companies in the Netherlands and Belgium, supporting their development programs from Phase I to IV. My focus is on building trust, helping clients navigate complex challenges, and finding solutions that fit their needs. Over the years, I’ve had the chance to establish long-term relationships, support colleagues through mentoring, and set up and lead successfully events like the Fortrea Benelux Drug Development Symposium to bring people together. Since transitioning to part-time work (off on Fridays) I’ve experienced new passions —co-hosting an Airbnb in the Swabian Alb (Maison Fuchs- Schwäbische Alb, Sonnenbühl), designing its interior, and continue my hobby of capturing stories through photography.
