ABOUT MARTINA FÜRRUTTER
I am the Innovation in Politics Institute. Together with our fantastic Advisory team, we consult governments and opinion leaders in their public innovation projects and support them in putting those projects into practice. Previously, I co-created and managed the ECoD City Network, and was responsible for measuring the Scientific Impact of the European Capital of Democracy initiative. I hold a PhD from the University of St.Gallen. In my research, I analysed EU sanctioning policies following human rights violations and the influence of media coverage and public knowledge on the decision to impose sanctions. I have a deep interest in the process of democracy promotion at the local, national and EU-level.
