About Martin Adams
I am a 3L law student at Seton Hall University School of Law with a strong focus in litigation, motion practice, and dispute resolution. Through the FINRA Investor Advocacy Clinic and participation in the Southern District of New York Settlement Conference program as well as the District of New Jersey Settlement Conference program, I have gained hands-on experience analyzing claims, preparing advocacy materials, and engaging in dispute resolution.I currently serve as a Judicial Extern to the Honorable Annette Scoca in the Essex County Superior Court, Civil Division, where I assist with motion write-ups and opinion drafting. I will return to chambers as Judge Scoca’s Law Clerk for the 2026–2027 term, where I look forward to deepening my experience in civil procedure, legal writing, and trial advocacy.Prior to law school, I graduated from Elon University with a degree in Economics and Philosophy, earning Latin honors. My academic background sharpens my reasoning and approach to problem solving which are skills I will continue to refine through litigation focused practice.
