ABOUT MARTINA MAGNUSSON
I’m Martina Magnusson. Welcome to my profile! If there is anything I love as much as photography, it’s creating a story—your story—with my photograph. I grew up in the village of Hokon in the southernmost province of Sweden, where I enjoyed long summer nights, short winter days, forests, meadows, and lakes. My tiny village connected me to nature’s beauty. Today I live in Chicago’s Western suburbs, where I have met so many different kinds of people. My main goal is to make my clients feel relaxed and comfortable in front of the camera, so their true story shines through, and they think their picture rightfully represents who they are. That’s the nature of headshot photography! Photographing people enables me to connect with someone when I’m behind the camera, which is what is important to me.
