About Martin Wiernsperger

I’m an assistant professor of accounting at the Samuel Curtis Johnson Graduate School of Management at Cornell University. My research and teaching interests are primarily in the field of management accounting. Specifically, I draw on the methods of experimental economics to conduct behavioral research on topics related to performance management, compensation contract design, and decision making. Prior to joining Cornell University as a tenure-track faculty, I completed my Ph.D. at the Vienna University of Economics and Business and my M.B.A. at the University of Technology Sydney.
