ABOUT MARTIN WAHL

30+ years holding senior leadership roles within the tech sector including 17 years at Microsoft. Now bringing my passion and energy into building community and membership growth at the Stroum Jewish Connunity Center of Greater Seattle. I left Microsoft in July 2025 (reduction in force) where I was a Business Architect on the GTM team driving Sustainability and long term business reslience for Microsoft\'s largest global customers. Prior to that I was part of the Business Applications Sales Group (Dynamics 365 and the Power Platform) supporting global sellers working with customers in the Government/Public Sector and also in the Health Care/Life Sciences vertical. I\'ve been a Principal Technical Program Manager and Solutions Specialist for the Media & Telecom sectors. I have represented Microsoft across the globe speaking to audiences everywhere about the latest and hottest tech and trends. Served in senior technical leadership roles in Microsoft’s Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning groups; in the Azure public cloud working on online media streaming and cloud video services; as the Senior Director of Operations running Microsoft’s first hosted Exchange and SharePoint service, helping to launch what is now the multi-billion dollar offering Microsoft/Office365. Microsoft awarded me their most prestigious “One Microsoft” award in 2019 for my commitment to partners and customers. Prior to Microsoft, I worked at tech companies such as Nortel Networks, Arris, General Instrument Corp, Spyglass Integration and IBM focusing on media streaming, interactive TV, and IP networks. I have a BA in Broadcast Journalism from the University of Southern California and make my home in Redmond, Washington.
