Work within a process development department. Major activities include leading Analytical Chemistry contribution to Core Project Teams and Drug Substance Teams on projects ranging from pre-clinical to Phase clinical. Provision of support to Process Chemistry and Process Engineering scientists and Development Manufacture of pharmaceutical intermediates and APIs. Internal and external (CMC) documentation preparation. Problem solving, routine analysis and method development/validation using a broad range of techniques including chromatography, mass spectrometry, NMR, ICP, XRF, titration and UV & IR spectroscopies. Leader of functional mass spectrometry group and key player in global MS group. Experience as functional SHE representative and a number of technical groups including chromatography group and IS/IT group.
