Martin has over 18 years of tax experience with 14 years focused on financial transactions transfer pricing. As an Associate Partner in the Transfer Pricing team Martin advises clients on all aspects of thin capitalisation and debt pricing, including planning, documentation, controversy management and ATCAs. Prior to joining Ernst & Young, Martin worked for HMRC in International CT. This role provided extensive experience and valuable insight into HMRCs working practices on thin capitalisation & debt pricing. At HMRC Martin was part of the team which was responsible for the issue of the Statement of Practice on Advance Thin Capitalisation Agreements (ATCA’s) and for development of the model ATCA.
