ABOUT MARTIN PONSFORD

I\'m a Technology Platform Manager empowering and supporting multiple technology platform teams. Although I\'m a seasoned Unix Techo\' with a history of serving multiple companies, I seek those who have the passion and technology to look after their own I.T shops - I currently support staff over a multiple continents of 40+ staff configured into mulitple squads. Automation is the name of the game, along with the typical push of cloud based engineering, Red Hat\'s OpenShit and the appreciation of Google\'s Service Reliability Engineer roles,\"Yeah - all bleedin\' edge - but look at the competition out there!). My mission: To ensure both customers and stakeholders are provided the best Unix based service available - second to none and to grow relationships based on integrity, trust and mutual respect. A win-win attitude foremost - everyone MUST win! Customer service is not just expecting a service based on SLA\'s - it\'s knowing that you have not only bought a service, but a team that are empowered to raise the efficiency of your service and to work with you as a partner - growing, encouraging and becoming more efficient and successful. The more we work together as ONE team with a common goal, and not separate entities competing with each other clouding that goal - the more we win. together. Oh - and I know a little Techo stuff too -)
