In my volunteer role as national DofE & Expeditions Advisor for the Army Cadets in the UK I am responsible for creating and delivering a strategy enabling maximum participation in DofE activities and completions of awards. I lead a team of volunteers who each look after different regions of the UK or specialist areas. My role involves key stakeholder engagement including advising the organisation on context, trends and challenges in relation to the delivery of the award. It also involves supporting the quality and assurance of expeditions within the DofE and Army Cadet Syllabus.
