ABOUT MARTIN PEROLARI
Young winemaker for Domaine de Cambis since 2019. Before I\'ve been working with my parents since I finished my studies in 2011. They created the winery in 2002 and my mother has been making wine since 2004. We created a small but strong family business with a great branding and unique wines. The vineyard is located all around Berlou, a small village in the heart of Languedoc in the AOC Saint-Chinian. The terroir is so special and unique (Ordovician\'s schists) that we were granted the new village appelation: AOC Saint-Chinian BERLOU. This works like a \"cru\". Our soil is really stony and located in a valley where a microclimate developed itself. Pair this with the altitude of our vines (250 - 450 meters high) that brings freshness and you will have great wines. Step by step I took over the sales and now the winemaking. Twelve years in the wine business is really young so I am trying along with my family to keep our business going forward. This year (2017) we will finally have our new winery (and this means a lot!) where we will welcome our customers to enjoy a tasting, a visit or even a stay!
