ABOUT MARTIN PEPPER
I have a strong view that if two businesses can successfully align on their goals and agree on the combined value of their partnership, it can result in 10X value to both organisations. To this end, developing trusted relationships between teams and skilled individuals brings me great personal satisfaction – especially when we are all motivated by the same values. After gaining a Masters in Computer Science, I worked in a variety of technical roles at IBM before moving into more commercial roles and leading the European Cloud Content Services team. I find that maintaining both technical and commercial skills helps me bridge the gap between different experiences and skillsets that exist across organisations.I have been lucky to work under some of the greatest CEOs alive today, at three of the world’s greatest companies. They have shown me the value of not just great products and propositions, but of scaling a strong culture and investing in the wider community. I try to pass these lessons on, both within work as a mentor for others as they build sustainable careers, and outside work as a qualified football coach, investing in the long-term development of children in grassroots sport.
