About Martin Palamore

I am the Chief Schools Officer at East Harlem Tutorial Program (EHTP), a nonprofit organization that provides comprehensive educational and enrichment services to students and families in East Harlem. I joined EHTP in March 2024, after leading and managing multiple high-performing schools.With more than 15 years of experience in the education sector, I am passionate about creating and sustaining equitable and inclusive learning environments that empower students to achieve their full potential. I bring a wealth of skills and expertise to my role, including civility, instruction, staff development, system and strategy design, leadership coaching, and turnaround management. I have successfully led and supported the development of high-quality teachers and principals, as well as the implementation of rigorous and engaging curricula and assessments. At EHTP, I oversee the academic and operational excellence of our schools, and drive the innovation and improvement of our programs and practices. I am committed to advancing EHTP\'s vision of transforming the lives of our scholars and families, and making a lasting impact in our community.
