I currently manage the legal team which advises on the commercial, media and football business of the club. This includes: Sponsorship: Global and territory-specific sponsorship agreements, often including rights to distribute content via a range of platforms. Have advised on and negotiated some of the biggest and most complex deals in football/sport (including adidas and Chevrolet), and successfully worked in markets (and cultures) around the world during my time with the club. Broadcast: Worldwide multi-platform distribution agreements for MUTV (the club\'s official television channel), and other club branded media platforms (including direct to consumer digital offerings). Tour: Advising on and assisting in the development of the commercial structure and exploitation of the club\'s international tours. This includes creating and negotiating agreements with match promoters, stadia, host broadcasters, media agencies and sponsors. Media: Publishing agreements (DVDs, books), agreements with social media platforms, image licensing. Retail: Agreements with physical and online retail partners (i.e. club branded retail operations), appointment of licensees for club merchandise Football Transactions: Professional playing contracts, player sales, player acquisitions, players loans, image rights and recruitment of academy players. Stakeholder Relations: Liaising/negotiating with governing bodies. Advising the club in respect of the exploitation of commercial and media rights granted by the organisers of competitions in which the club competes, and the regulatory framework for football transactions. Commercial strategy: Key advisor to the club\'s commercial team, assisting with their development of the club\'s commercial strategy generally and on specific deals. Also experienced working on the general operations of the club. This includes all aspects of Manchester United\'s involvement in London 2012, ticket terms & conditions, IT agreements and HR matters.
