Reporting directly to the CEO and Group Operations Support DirectorDuties & Responsibilities• Spearheading comprehensive Health and Safety compliance initiatives across all facets of company operations.• Implementing and maintaining robust systems aimed at continually enhancing Health and Safety performance, strategically aligning with the company\'s annual growth trajectory and overarching objectives.• Conduct safety reviews, guidance, assistance and advice to employees and contractors through interpretation of safety practices and procedures in relation to client requirements.• Provide continuous monitoring of site performance, conducting planned and reactive audits and inspections, recommending actions to facilitate improvement.• Complying with all relevant procedures and deliver high standards of safety performance during all operations. • Responding promptly and effectively to changing circumstances, planning for contingencies and managing conflicting priorities.• Playing a pivotal role in steering the company towards the attainment of prestigious accreditation statuses, including ISO standards 9001, 14001, and 45001, as well as other pertinent certifications such as SafeContractor, Constructionline, and FORS.• Employing a proactive approach to ensure that company procedures and practices are rigorously aligned with the stringent requirements outlined in the Ionising Radiation Regulations of 2017.• Facilitating the seamless development and harmonization of operations between the UK-based headquarters and the operational base in Poland.• Chairing regular Safety and progress meetings attended by all crew and liaising with the clients.• Train and coach staff & ensure the competency of site teams in the identification and control of hazards & risks on location by actively engaging, influencing and persuade all operational and support functions to deliver an integrated, pragmatic approach to HSE.
