Kingmoor Resignalling Scheme, a £41.4 million rail project situated on a section of the West Coast Main Line north of Carlisle, is under the management of Siemens. My role as the BIM Manager plays a critical role in the project as it involves overseeing BIM deliverables on the project. The Project is utilising Bentley applications MicroStation, ProjectWise and Bentley Connect Centre and the live review platform for Interdisciplinary Coordination/Review (IDC/R) for collaboration and streamline document sharing among the various project stakeholders.The project is further enriched by the integration of Bentley iTwin drone data, intertwined with existing 3D assets, reality mesh, design, and topographical survey data. This combination of data sources has helped decision-making process throughout the project, offering valuable insights and data-driven solutions.My responsibilities include- Developing and maintaining the BIM Execution Plan (BEP)- Utilising Bentley Connect Centre - Managing Bentley Live Review for IDC/R for collaboration- Ensuring CAD data quality through audits and reviews- Overseeing clash detection - Facilitating collaboration and documentation sharing via Bentley Connect Centre and IDC/R- Integrating Bentley iTwin drone data for enhanced decision-making- Aligning with the client\'s BIM representation and assisting project suppliers with ProjectWise and CDE processes- Administering ProjectWise for access and sufficient permissions- Utilizing AssetWise for documentation transmittal- Responding to Technical Queries (TQ) and Requests for Information (RFI)- Collaborate with the Client BIM representatives as well as our Supply Chain BIM representatives.
