I am fascinated by the challenges searching for hydrocarbons brings and enjoy approaching these challenges with new ideas or different perspectives in order to solve a complex problem. Along the way I have had an opportunity to learn a great deal from exploration to production and everything in between. I look forward to tackling new challenges every day and consider myself lucky to be in this profession.A brief history of my experience: Currently working at Ecopetrol America Inc, Gulf of America Offshore Field Development. I am the lead geoscientis, managing the Gunflint Field Development. Previously, I worked in the Exploration Team, providing regional interpretation using the latest technology and datasets to identify and evaluate prospectivity through lease sales, capture, reprocessing and maturing towards drilling. I also have explored in the Salinas Basin offshore Mexico. At Statoil, I worked in the Regional Exploration Team, Prospect Maturation Team and the Wells and Appraisal Team. My experience covers reservoirs from Miocene, Paleogene and Jurassic Norphlet. While at BP, I completed the new hire training program, providing experience within production, appraisal and exploration. I worked in many roles including as an exploration geologist covering Walker Ridge, as well as the outer shelf South Additions (Deep Gas). I worked as an operations geologist in Southern Wyoming, Wamsutter field and learned a lot about drilling onshore (managed 7 rigs). I also worked at Thunder Horse. Lastly, I did extensive interpretation to better understand pressure and aquifer support for a producing field known as Marlin.
