About Martin Kot

With 14 years of experience across the biotech and pharmaceutical landscape—spanning local, regional, and global roles—I developed a blend of scientific rigor, strategic vision, and cross-functional leadership. My career journey has taken me from the lab bench to the strategy seat: From working in R&D optimizing downstream processes for biosimilars production, advancing through clinical operations managing Phase trials, and evolving into Medical Affairs and product strategy roles. I’ve worked hands-on as a CRA, MSL, and Product Manager—navigating complex decisions, cross-functional collaboration, and high-stakes launches. I’ve focused on rare diseases (notably Lysosomal Storage Disorders) and more recently, autoimmune conditions—areas where unmet need meets deep scientific complexity.Outside of industry, I spent a decade (2011–2021) teaching Molecular and Cell Biology at the University of Buenos Aires. That academic chapter sharpened my ability to communicate science clearly, mentor effectively, and lead with curiosity—skills I carry into every role.Currently, I’m Director in Global Medical Affairs at Takeda, supporting immunology pipeline as a Global scientific trainer, based in Cambridge, MA, USA.Passionate about science, strategy, and storytelling—especially where they intersect. Views expressed are my own.
