The role was mainly office based with lots of internal meetings but I did host a delegation from Ghana and toured the UK with them for a couple of weeks which was interesting. I travelled extensively throughout Europe and the Middle East and managed and grew accounts in the City and won and grew major accounts such as Morgan Stanley, Goldman Sachs, Credit Suisse, Barclays Capital and many others. Sales Executive 01/1985 - 01/1987Rank Xerox - London I became the youngest person ever to be employed (at that time) by Rank Xerox as a Salesperson. I won the course award for the legendary residential 2 week Xerox training at Newport Pagnell.I enjoyed success firstly in the out reaches of North london in the Enfield area before being offered better \"patches\" as they were known, slowly working towards the City of London, my prize goal. I had learnt how to sell hardware and now my focus was on software. Telesales Executive 01/1984 - 01/1985Rank Xerox - London The job of the telesales executive was purely focussed to make appointments for the filed sales team. I won salesperson of the month multiple times which lead to a promotion a year later.
