ABOUT MARTIN HUME

Martin S. Hume, Esq. has been admitted to practice law since 1981. A graduate of The Ohio State University College of Law, Attorney Hume was winner of the prestigous Best Brief Award in Moot Court competition in his first year of law school. Born in Youngstown, Ohio, Attorney Hume attended Wesleyan University in Middletown, Connecticut, where he graduated cum laude, in 1978. He is a member of the Mahoning County Bar Association, the Trumbull County Bar Association, the American Bar Association, the National Employment Lawyers Association (NELA), and the Ohio Employment Lawyers Association (OELA). Attorney Hume has been listed in Best Lawyers in America for personal injury law and has been recognized by his peers as an Ohio SuperLawyer for Labor and Employment Law. He is past president of the Mahoning-Trumbull Counties Academy of Trial Lawyers. His law practice is focused on civil litigation including personal injury, auto accidents and wrongful death cases. He is a Certified Specialist in Labor and Employment Law and has extensive experience including wrongful discharge, discrimination, sexual harassment, and employee benefits. Attorney Hume is admitted to the Ohio Bar as well as the Federal District Court for the Northern District of Ohio, the Federal District Court for the Southern District of Ohio, the Federal District Court for the Western District of Pennsylvania, the Sixth Circuit Court of Appeals, the Third Circuit Court of Appeals, and the United States Supreme Court.
