With over c30 years of experience in conservation, I serve as the CEO of BirdLife International, the world\'s largest partnership of civil society nature conservation organsiations.My role is to lead and support BirdLife\'s 124 Partners in 119 countries, working together to protect and restore biodiversity, tackle climate change, and promote sustainable development. Before joining BirdLife, I worked for the RSPB - BirdLife’s UK Partner - for 17 years, the last 10 as Conservation Director.My ambition is to support BirdLife Partners be leaders of hope and optimism projecting confidence that we can live in harmony with the rest of nature.
