ABOUT MARTIN HALLIDAY
I started my career as a graduate engineer within Marconi and then Plessey, two very large Aerospace corporations with a strong technology focus. I then moved to small privately owned company called Computer Solutions Ltd to take up to the role of Software Development Manager, and eventually left there to start a software outsourcing business which I ran profitably for a number of years.In 2004 I decided to move back into the corporate world, and took a position with Sita INC Ltd, a global organization with more than employees, where I gradually progressed to the role of Chief Architect.I have a wealth of experience of designing, building and managing large complex computer based systems in a wide range of industry sectors. I have designed web sites, business systems, industrial control systems, finance, scientific and machine learning applications. There are very few kinds of software, tools or technologies that I don\'t have significant experience with at every scale.My interest in computer technology has been the major focus of my life since I built a small computer as an electronics project when I was at School. That computer had only 256 bytes of memory. I have loved every moment of the exciting journey from those early beginnings to where we are today, and I am still pushing at the leading edge of this dynamic and vibrant industry.
