About Martin Gonzalez

I am an adaptable and data-driven leader with a major interest in people, strategy and technology. I enjoy building efficient teams, designing new processes, and navigating the complexity of organizations. Thankful for my strong leaders and mentors who shaped my experiences, and I have been trusted to be placed in roles of increasing responsibility and challenges. Early in my career I negotiated a 9-month series of deals leading to securing a contiguous land position in the Permian Basin. These resulted in thousands of 1.5-mile and 2.0-mile horizontal lateral wells and realization of $1.2 Billion. The team I led also earned a distinguished honor, the Chairman\'s award. My interest in technology and process efficiency led me to join a startup organization where I led the BD efforts and consulted on strategy. I leveraged my extensive network in the energy sector to make strategic connections, studied software integration with clients, and created market analysis procedures to monitor and analyze drilling activity across basins. I have the honor to lead a team of motivated employees responsible for maintaining contracts and data across the U.S. and Gulf of Mexico. My data-driven approach leads me to create and fine tune our process and approach. I was fortunate to be nominated and elected to serve on a software company\'s Advisory Board where I help steer strategic software decisions for end-users, share best practices with Director and VP level peers, and participate in panel discussions.
