ABOUT MARTIN GARDINER

My current role of Pricing Manager involves responsibility for pricing all tender opportunities within G4S FM and populating all Client Pricing Return documents, as required. Since starting in as an Apprentice Electrician, I have also worked as a Facilities Engineer, Bid Support Manager, Estimator, Contracts Manager and a Regional Facilities Manager, within the same business (Carillion; formerly Alfred McAlpine; formerly E.J. Stiell). Before starting my journey with Cofely/Engie as the Regional Manager on the BIS account and then taking on the Technical Services Manager role with strategic ownership of the operational management and delivery of hard facilities management services across an ambulant hospital site, as part of a PFI contract. Then I joined Atalian Servest as an Asset Manager in May 2017, which involved responsibility for all pricing aspects of large FM tenders, as well as supporting handover and mobilisation of successful contracts. I then moved to BAM FM in January 2020, where I spent over 2.5 years helping secure over £20m worth of contracts, predominantly in the Education Sector.
