The responsibilities of my current role are- To manage the Estates & Facilities Division, which encompasses the Estates infrastructure and facilities functions, including the Chairing of a monthly Divisional Board- To ensure that the building environment is safe for patients and staff, which includes managing an Annual Audit Process and the resultant action plans via the Estates Compliance Manager- To develop and maintain a comprehensive Estates and Facilities strategy and service provision, by acting as the Estates and Facilities’ professional for the Trust, and ensuring that the Trust’s Estate and Facilities’ service is managed safely and cost effectively to meet the applicable statutory requirements- For the development of strategies, policies and interpreting legislation for the Division- To play a full and proactive part as a Trust Associate Director accepting collective Corporate responsibility- To ensure that the Trust is able to deliver a high quality and effective patient service at all times, offering leadership and inspiration, using skills and personal attributes to lead by example, and to mentor and motivate staff to continually improve themselves and their services.
