ScubaTx was founded in 2020 as a spin-out from Newcastle University, developing a next generation organ preservation system. 2025 is expected to be a transformational year for the company as we move from a prototype development organisation, through studies and trials, to servicing our first customers.My role, as Technical Director at ScubaTx, is focused on the technical oversight of the product design and project coordination to deliver a proven Organ Transport Solution. I have made rapid prototyping the core of our product development strategy and introduced agile project management.I have built a successful internal development team, by promoting inclusion of ideas from all team members and encouraging each team member to take ownership of their area of expertise. As Technical Director of ScubaTx I have contributed to the company\'s technical IP and associated patent portfolio.I have 30 years experience of developing safety critical solutions in highly regulated industries including defence, nuclear, transport, satellite communications and banking.
