All psychological services offered by Medipsy are tailored to each client and patient. We offer assessments and treatments, including psychotherapy, that marry state-of-the-art scientific evidence with compassion, empathy, and a continual, personalized assessment of each person\'s needs. Medipsy also offers established psychologists, physicians, and psychotherapists evidence-based assessment and psychotherapy training. Continuing education workshops are designed to train experienced psychologists, psychotherapists and other mental health professionals to improve skills in assessment procedures and to offer services in empirically supported approaches to psychotherapy. Lectures, workshops, seminars and clinical supervision allow new psychotherapists to meet credentialing requirements, including those of Bill 21. Medipsy is a unique facility involved in treatment research and knowledge transfer. Our university-based partners lead cutting-edge research investigations on psychotherapy and psychological service delivery for a number of conditions including depression and other mood disorders, anxiety disorders, and adjustment disorders. Studies are conducted in collaboration with universities and research centers in Quebec, in Canada, and abroad. All psychological services are implemented with careful attention to current scientific evidence.

ABOUT MARTIN DRAPEAU
Martin Drapeau, M.Ps, Ph.D, psychologist (Clinical Psychology), is a Full Professor of Counselling Psychology and of Psychiatry at McGill University, and a Researcher affiliated with the Qualaxia Network and the Centre International de Criminologie Comparée of the University of Montreal. Former Project Director at the Lady Davis Institute for Medical Research and FRSQ Chercheur Boursier, he is appointed as Adjunct Professor of Clinical Psychology at the University of Sherbrooke. He is involved in or leads a number of research projects and has published in the area of psychotherapy process and of psychopathology. Prof. Drapeau is a former vice president of the Order (College) of Psychologists of Quebec (OPQ) and member of its Executive Committee and Board of Directors. Former Quebec representative on the American Psychological Association Council of Representatives and former member of the Executive Committee of the Dynamic Section of the Canadian Psychological Association (CPA), Dr. Drapeau is a Past Chair of the Clinical Section of the CPA. Prof. Drapeau is the Editor in Chief of Canadian Psychology and former Editor of Science and Practice, and is on the editorial board of a number of other journals.
