ARCHITECT Working extensively within the commercial, aviation, residential and community sectors with various projects also completed in the education, health and retail sectors Management of drawing packages to ensure prompt delivery of high quality information Highly competent at technical detailing, with key experience in facade layout/interfaces as well as bespoke interior designs Strong visualisation skills, taking designs from all project stages and creating imagery and animations for various purposes including client meetings and end-user sales documentation BIM MANAGEMENT Development of responsive and adaptable BIM workflows, typically centred on Autodesk Revit but encompassing Rhino, Dynamo, Microsoft Excel, 3DSMax, MassMotion, etc. alongside various cloud-based products to ensure smooth transfer of information between software. Creation of clear strategies for handling model break up of large projects, balancing ease of use with software/hardware capabilities. Creating supporting documentation, practice BIM standards, protocols, BIM Execution Plans and LOD model element development tables. Developed a close working relationship with our training partners, Autodesk and other software vendors to ensure that I am aware of new and emerging technologies and their potential use and benefits for our business. Regularly interact and collaborate with colleagues, clients and consultants in global locations to develop BIM strategies and push BIM knowledge, overcoming cultural, language and technical barriers. Guest lecturer on the topic of ‘Operational BIM’ on Middlesex University’s BIMM MSc course since 2014 and regular speaker at RTC (now BILT) conferences, presenting on workflow management for large scale international projects and Dynamo at conferences in Dublin, Washington D.C, Budapest and Porto.
