I am responsible for management and delivery of analytical leadership of Planned Care, Cancer and Diagnostics performance and improvement for NHS England south east. This includes regular and ad hoc analyses, management of changes to standards and reporting requirements, and providing insights to inform and support recovery and performance. A large part of my role is to manage stakeholders from the improvement, performance, national and regional teams - prioritising delivery of work, sharing of information to avoid duplication, turning data into actionable information, and persuading colleagues to take action by using data. I am a manager of a small team, with the joint responsibility of delivering results through my staff as well as developing their skills through training and stretch tasks. I am jointly responsible for the management and development of the team\'s regional analytical network, which includes organising and directing meetings, and identifying ways to develop and take the network forwards. This involves working closely with the region\'s Deputy Director of Performance, as well as colleagues inside and outside the organisation. I have also been involved in shaping the future of the Data and Analytics team through the use of strategic workstreams for learning and development, and BI tools. This leads the development and expertise of analytics in the region.
