Responsible for the finance function of the Carlisle Refrigeration (Holdings) Limited group including Carlisle Refrigeration Limited, Thermo King Northern Limited and Criocabin Limited. Thermo King Northern is a platinum status Thermo King dealer.• CORE ROLES: Ownership of all financial reporting for managerial purposes (at group, company, depot, cost centre and department discipline level), statutory requirements (holding and group companies) and dealership terms (dealer income statement and balance sheet). Mentoring a team of qualified and part-qualified accountants preparing management accounts, detailed sales analysis, contract profitability and work-in-progress reports for presentation at Board and Management Meetings. Reporting monthly MIs to key banking contacts. Main liaison for year-end audit. Co-ordinator of a corporate banking switch from RBS to Handelsbanken and migration to the Making Tax Digital online VAT platform. Post-Brexit planning including setting up VAT registration in Ireland due to the inability to continue to utilise the triangulation simplification when sourcing product from Ireland and shipping it to VAT registered business customers in other Member States. • ACHIEVEMENTS: Writing Jet Reports in order to fully integrate Navision data into consolidated and departmental management accounts. Nurturing junior staff to progress from school leavers and graduates to AAT and CIMA qualified accountants (including the winner of the AAT Apprentice of the Year award 2018).
