TenneT is a European electricity transmission system operator (TSO) that plays a crucial role in ensuring a stable supply of green energy. TenneT\'s multiterminal hubs are unique electricity hubs in Europe and one of the cornerstones of the electricity grid of the future. Germany has set itself the goal of becoming climate-neutral by 2025 and more independent in its energy procurement in the coming years. The planned meshing of the DC grid is intended to fulfil the increasing demands on the electricity grid and guarantee a secure, stable power supply in the long term. Multiterminal hubs are therefore a first step on the way to the energy grid of the future.
