I am currently interning at Wink Hotel Saigon Center, where I have the opportunity to combine operational immersion with a strategic project focused on guest experience.Phase 1 – Operations Exposure (3 months):I rotate across the key operational departments:Front Office: Welcoming and assisting guests, handling check-in and check-out.Food & Beverage: Contributing to both service and preparation to deliver memorable dining experiences.Housekeeping: Learning the cleanliness and efficiency standards essential to guest comfort.This immersion allows me to gain a 360° view of hotel operations and to understand how teamwork drives service quality.Phase 2 – Guest Experience Project (3 months):Alongside the Guest Experience team, I am currently working on a project to analyze and improve guest satisfaction:Observing and analyzing guest interactions and feedback.Benchmarking best practices and industry trends in hospitality.Proposing and testing solutions to enhance the guest journey.What I am learning:Operational skills: Understanding the standards and processes that structure hospitality.Guest-centric mindset: Realizing how every detail contributes to a memorable experience.Analytical and project skills: Collecting data, identifying opportunities, and implementing improvements.Cross-cultural communication: Collaborating with international teams and adapting to a multicultural environment.This experience strengthens my conviction that hospitality excellence relies both on operational mastery and on a constant drive to innovate around the guest experience.
