SSBT is a pre-professional ballet school located in Hingham, MA. We follow American Ballet Theater’s National Training Curriculum Marthavan McKeon has successfully completed ABT National Training Curriculum, Classical Ballet Pedagogy 2008 – 2009 through Level 5. Mrs. mcKeon has been teaching classical ballet at the pre-professional level for over 30 years and has worked in professional schools Such as The Atlanta Ballet, Academie Américain de Danse de Paris, Pennsylvania Ballet, Joffrey Ballet and Boston Ballet School. In 2008, Mrs. McKeon open South Shore Ballet Theatre, originally in Hanover and now located in Hingham, MA after the closure of BBS Norwell satellite school. Since the opening in 2008, Mrs. McKeon has trained many students who have gone on to professional careers with major ballet companies as week as trained many dancers who have gone to college to not only study dance but also many other subjects including medicine and science. ABT NTC is an Intensive revisit of how to learn a step with muti-level progression. Written and oral examination of steps with examples of exercises taken through the progression from Primary to level 5. Activities and Societies: Certified in Primary to Level 5 Knowledgeable of ABT Dancer\'s Health guide
