Work with Element Care PACE clinical staff to develop and maintain efficient and consistent policies and procedures across the seven Adult Day Health Center sites, as well as identify, recommend, and implement pharmacy processes to allow prescribers and nurses to be more efficient in delivering top-notch health care to PACE participants in Brighton, on the North Shore, and in the Merrimac Valley. Work with the Finance Dept to ensure that pharmacy claims processing and management practices are fully compliant with Part D rules. Negotiate pharmacy contracts with current vendors as well as new vendors in expansion areas. Focus on increasing clinical pharmacy role in health care delivery for Element Care participants within constraints of the PACE regulations.
