About Martha McDonald Appleton
My roots are in North Carolina, where I attended Vardell Hall and Western Carolina University in Cullowhee. After working in property management and the travel industry for 15 years, I enjoyed living in New York City. I was then led to Grand Rapids and eventually became part of the Northern Jet Management team for 14 years. I began working for a local nonprofit in June 2015 and consider it a privilege to work for causes that I am passionate about. In my free time; you can find me outside, running, or hiking. My \"to-do\" list includes at least a half marathon in this decade. I enjoy visiting my daughter in Chicago and basking in her success. I am currently a member at Calvary Church and Monroe Community Church, where I continue to grow spiritually. I am waiting for the \"next thing\" that will enable my life to become even richer.
