About Martha Clay Frith
I graduated from Virginia Tech in 2006 with a Bachelor’s Degree in Hospitality and Tourism Management. Upon graduation, I took a job with Marriott International and moved to Arlington, Virginia where I completed their Management Development Program. Upon program completion, I stayed on at the Crystal Gateway Marriott as Event Services Manager. In September 2007, I accepted a position as a Sales Manager at the Courtyard by Marriott, Roanoke Airport.Within 2 years, I began a dual sales role as a Sales Manager for the Courtyard & Residence Inn. I was promoted to Dual Director of Sales of both hotels in 2015. In 2016, I was awarded “Sales Leader of the Year” for Island Hospitality and was a Champions Cup finalist, winning a trip to Aruba. I pride myself in building relationships with my customers, winning their business, and keeping it year after year.
