During my time at the Institute, I led the effort to secure a transformational gift from the Winthrop Rockefeller Charitable Trust to establish a permanent endowment of more than $112 million. Along with our 80+ employees, I led the Institute in articulating a clear mission, vision, and core values to guide the work and drive how resources would be used. Prior to joining the Institute, I served 12 years as vice chancellor for advancement at the University of Arkansas Fort Smith and as executive director of the UAFS Foundation. During my tenure at UAFS, I led the campaign to raise more than $57 million. Before taking the helm of the UAFS Foundation, I helped to start the dental hygiene program at Westark College.I am married to my husband of 41 years, and have three children and seven grandchildren. We live at Lake Ouachita and I enjoy all things outdoors.exercise, boating, gardening and photography. I love to read and learn, and appreciate the visual and performing arts.
