ABOUT MARTA CASEROTTI

My research interest primarily focuses on the scarcity mindset - people’s perception of not having enough resources to satisfy their needs. Specifically, I look at how scarcity affects cognitive processes and consumer behavior. Further, I am also interested in studying other research topics related to judgment and decision making, such as charitable donations and dishonest and immoral behavior. I am the Lab manager at the Judgment and Decision Making Laboratory (University of Padova). Finally, I am a member of the Emotional Intelligence and Sport Psychology Laboratory (University of Padova), where we investigate how emotions and emotional intelligence influence athletic performance.
