Equally at home setting strategic vision with executives or diving into the trenches to resolve critical incidents with engineers, I thrive at the intersection of strategy and execution.My communication style is audience-driven and adaptable. I translate corporate strategy into actionable engineering objectives and distill complex technical challenges into clear, accessible insights for stakeholders.As a Manager, I align tactical work streams with broader corporate objectives, mentor emerging managers and tech leads, refine agile processes, and tackle organizational design challenges.As an Architect, I empower teams to consistently deliver resilient software with the minimum viable amount of standards and processes. My two decades of backend engineering experience bring a unique perspective to platform engineering, and my work on the platform side helps customer-facing product teams maximize the value they get from their infrastructure.Outside of work, I channel my creativity as an artist and licensed pyrotechnician. Designing and executing fireworks displays pushes me to evaluate and mitigate risk, embrace discomfort, and lead passionate, creative teams to craft awe-inspiring results.
