ABOUT MARSHALL HUFF

With over 10 years of experience in the veterinary industry, I am a passionate and skilled Talent Acquisition Manager at Petfolk, a leading online platform for pet health and wellness. I have a Fear Free Level Three certification, which enables me to recruit and train veterinary professionals who can provide compassionate and stress-free care for pets and their owners. I also have a QPR Gatekeeper certificate, which equips me to identify and prevent suicide among veterinary staff, a critical issue in this field. At Petfolk, I work with a diverse and talented team to source, screen, and hire qualified relief veterinarians. I also manage the onboarding and retention processes, ensuring a smooth and positive experience for new hires and existing employees. I leverage my communication, time management, and hospitality skills to build and maintain strong relationships with candidates, hiring managers, and external partners. I am proud to contribute to Petfolk\'s mission of improving the lives of pets and their families through innovative and accessible solutions. Before joining Petfolk, I was a recruiting partner at Thrive Pet Healthcare, where I supported the growth and development of over 100 veterinary clinics across the country. I also have hands-on experience as a practice manager at Family Vet Group, Atlantic Veterinary Clinic and Banfield where I oversaw the daily operations and financial performance of a busy and successful clinics. I have a bachelor\'s degree in intelligence and national security studies from Coastal Carolina University, where I developed my analytical and critical thinking skills. I am always eager to learn new things and expand my knowledge in the veterinary field. I enjoy working in a dynamic and collaborative environment, where I can share my insights and ideas with others and learn from their perspectives and experiences.
