I worked the Los Angeles Pacific Palisades wildfires in January of 2025 for Crawford and Company. I handled around 25 complex large loss claims with 20 of them being a complete and total loss of the home. For the homes that were completely gone, I completed full stick rebuilds on Xactimate based off of information I gathered during my inspection as well as information I gathered from the insured and the internet such as blueprints and photos. Most of these estimates ran into the millions of dollars until they reached the policies limit. I then reviewed the contractor’s estimates as they came in, and worked with the California Fair Plan desk adjuster to review these estimates and give them recommendations on how to proceed with the claim. • Working daily claims in the state of Hawaii for Crawford and Company.• Handling any type of daily claim needed including water, wind, fire, vandalism, fallen object, mold, vehicle impact, collapse, as well as others in a timely and professional manner.• Using Xactimate to create estimates for any type of damage observed on the property’s structures. • Responsible for reviewing the policies and coverage, making contact with the insured, scheduling the inspection time and date, inspecting the premises, creating an estimate on Xactimate, creating a narrative report and keeping all notes in the firm and carrier’s system.• Responsible to review the contractor’s estimates, compare them to my estimate and then make recommendations to the desk adjuster on how to proceed.
